From Phippsburg we drove south on Hwy 131, south on CR 15, west on CR 132, and west again on CR 8 (also FR 16 on USGS map). This brought us to Dunckley Pass southeast of Dunckley Flat Tops. We began at 7:00 AM from the road just north of the pass and quickly turned left on another road heading west. When we reached the grassy slopes we set a bearing (photo 1, photo 2) toward the summit. This was a steep but easy grunt and we ended up slightly west of the summit. From there it was a short bushwhack through the woods before we stepped on top (photo 1, photo 2) at 7:45. On our descent we found a handy trail (photo 1, photo 2) on the east side that brought us down to the grassy slopes in a much easier and shorter fashion than our ascent route. We were back at our trucks at 8:20.

This peak is right across the road from where we parked for Dunckley Flat Tops. One could drive across Dunckley Pass to the picnic area and save a few feet of hiking but we didn't. We began at 8:35 AM and took the path of least resistance up the ridge. A handy trail on the upper third leads to the summit (photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, photo 5) where we arrived at 9:00. An easy descent brought us back to our trucks at 9:30.

We drove back (east) on CR 8 and turned south of FR 940 (also CR 97). This road goes past Chapman Reservoir and we parked in a large parking area southwest of the summit. We began at 10:15 AM up grassy slopes (photo 1, photo 2) with colorful flowers that had us stopping often to take pictures. It was an easy ascent of 25 minutes to the summit, even with the stops, and we were back to our trucks at 11:05.
UN 9322:
Roundtrip mileage: 1.0 miles
Elevation gain: 450'

We drove back east on CR 8 to CR 15, south on CR 15, west on Crosho Road (CR 15), which becomes FR 930.1, to the junction of FR 930.1 & 930.2B. It was slow driving and we parked at this junction. We began up the south slopes at 12:05 PM, a steep grunt, but manageable on mostly grass. Once we neared the summit, we continued to the west end where there's a small hill that comprises the summit highpoint. We arrived at 12:40 to outstanding views of Crosho Lake and surrounding peaks. After a short stay on top we headed down and were back at the trucks at 1:15. Today was a fun outing on four easy peaks.
